"Kiske liye bhaagi ho? Boyfriend ke liye? Maa baap ko aise dhokha dete sharam nahi aayi?" He questioned her immediately

"Kiske liye bhaagi ho? Boyfriend ke liye? Maa baap ko aise dhokha dete sharam nahi aayi?" He questioned her immediately.

For whom have you did this? A boyfriend? Don't you feel ashamed to do this to your parents?

"Aree aree. Ye kya bol rahe hai? Kis kisem ke ghatiya ilzam laga rahe hai aap mujh par. Mai kisi boyfriend ke liye nahi bhagi ghar se." She replied with her eyes widened.

Hey, hey. What are you saying? What kind of cheap allegations are you making against me? I haven't left my home for any boyfriend.

How dare he think so low of her. She has always been a pure soul. Never has she thought of doing anything against her parents until tonight. Had the circumstances been different she never would've even thought of running away from her house in the quiet of the night like this.

He had no right judging her or her character at mere 15 minutes of encounter. She didn't choose all that happened in her life and the decision of running away from her house was taken by her due to her helplessness.

"To yahan iss waqt kya kar rahi ho?" He again questioned her.

Then what are you doing here at this time?

Folding his hands against his chest, he flexed her bicep muscles unknowing and Harleen couldn't help but notice the bulge. He didn't miss how her eyes dropped at his arms for a fraction of seconds before looking back into his eyes. He internally smirked at catching her checking him out.

"Meri niji majboori ki wajah se mujhe ye kadam uthana pada. Kya aap please meri madad kar sakte hai?" She said as her voice went back to its original soft one.

I took this step due to a personal reason. Can you please help me?

"Kaisi madad?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.

What sort of help?

"Kya aap please mujhe kisi hotel chor sakte hai? Mera koi rishtedaar ya dost nahi jiske ghar mai jaa saku." She said as her voice broke on her own helplessness.

Can you please drop me to a hotel? I don't have any relative or friend whose place I can go to right now.

"Is waqt kisi hotel jana safe nahi hoga." Ranbir said as he eyed his expensive watch. It was past 2:45 am.

It won't be safe to go to any hotel at this time.

"Haye rabba, kya karu mai ab?" She murmured to herself but he caught what she said.

Oh God, what do I do now?

"Agar meri mano to mere ghar chalo," Before he could finish his sentence, she cut him off.

If you ask me, come with me to my house,

"Ye aap kya bol rahein hai," She stated with widened eyes.

What are you saying?

"Dekho, mujhe galat mat samjho. Mai us kisam ka aadmi nahi hu. Mere ghar meri ek choti behan hai. Tum uske saath reh sakti ho aaj ki raat. Hum kal sochenge ke aage karna kya hai." He explained in a hurry.

See, don't get me wrong. I'm not that type of a man. I have a younger sister at home, you can stay with her for tonight. We'll try and find a solution tomorrow.

She kept quiet for a moment, pondering over his offer. She took her lord's name and asked for a sign. He was a complete stranger but he had been kinder to her than any of her own family members ever have. She was completely alone in this place. She wanted to trust the man in front of her but wouldn't do anything unless her lord asks her to. The next moment, as if her prayers were answered, she heard a bell ring nearby.

The man standing before her turned to his right as he saw a bird sit on a bell that was hanging on the outskirts of a temple. She internally smiled as she took the sound of the bell as a sign of agreement from her lord.

"Chalein?" The man asked extremely softly.

Let's go?

She nodded her head and bend down to pick her bag up but he beat her to it. He picked it up and swinged it around his shoulder. He walked her towards the passenger side of the car and opened her door for her.

After she settled in her seat, he kept the bag in the car and took his seat on the driver's one. The first thing he noticed was the feminine floral smell that she had bought along with her. Her smell had enveloped the car beautifully. He unknowingly took a sniff. He internally smiled and then started driving.

The radio was now playing a soft song and the silence between them didn't seem awkward. His mansion was quite far from where they currently were so he pumped the gas and started driving a bit fast.

Out of his peripheral vision, he saw her rubbing her palms together as an attempt to generate heat. It was a cold night as is, so he turned the AC down a bit.

She noticed his action and thanked him in a small voice. He firmly nodded his head as a reply and reached behind for his jacket. He handed it to her and she hesitantly wore it. The large jacket was practically drowning her but it did provide her with warmth and comfort so she held onto it.

"Mera ghar yahan se thoda dur hai. Agar chaho to thodi der so jao." He said but she shook her head negative with a polite smile.

My house is a bit far from here, if you want you may sleep for some time.

Harleen hesitated at first and tried keeping herself awake but the lack of sleep and tiredness caught up to her and she didn't realise when she fell asleep. The last thing she remembered was the soft song playing in the car and Ranbir's scent which had her enveloped.
